♦পেয়ালাতে অল্প দুধ আছে = There is a little milk in the cup.
♦ফেন দিয়ে ভাত খায়, গল্প করে দই = Big boast, small roast.
♦মোস্তারীরা চার বোন = Mostari has three sisters.
লোকটির মরমর অবস্থা = The man is about to die.
দুইটা বাজতে দশ মিনিট বাকি = Is is ten to two.
কেটলিতে পানি টগবগ করছে = The water is simmering in the kettle.
আমি তাকে দিয়ে কাজটি করালাম = I made him do the work.
